Matty Chaps was born to sing and entertain.  He has been performing every weekend for over 13 years at weddings, clubs and functions.  Matty is an experienced and versatile performer, particularly skilled in reading crowds and picking the perfect song for each moment of his show! Matty will surprise you with his extensive set list of over 1,000 songs ranging from 1950 - today.

 

Matty is a one-man band with all the newest gadgets allowing him to create the feel of a full band supporting him on stage.

Matty was a finalist on the hit TV show The Voice Australia in 2012 supporting Team Delta.  Matty has played with and supported a variety of professional artists such as Sam+Sam, Cotton, Keyes and Morris and Michael Painter, and has been the front man for many popular Melbourne cover bands such as Crazy Haus, Crave and Red Rockit.

Recently, Matty Chaps has played at Australia's richest running race the Stawell Gift and has been playing many weddings during the spring and summer seasons.  Matty’ s newest project is to upload his greatest acoustic covers for you to enjoy.
